Frequently asked questions
Is this bootcamp right for me?
This bootcamp is designed for people who have a business idea or are at a very early stage and want clearer structure, stronger validation and better next steps.
Do I need to already know how to run a business?
No. The bootcamp is designed to be practical and accessible, whether you are just getting started or still shaping your idea.
Will this be too basic if I have already started?
Not necessarily. It is especially useful if your foundations still feel unclear, uneven or rushed.
How practical is the bootcamp?
Very practical. The sessions are designed to help you apply what you learn straight away, not just listen to theory.
What makes this different from free online advice?
This bootcamp brings practical guidance into one focused day, with expert input and structured learning you can use immediately.
How does the free mentoring benefit work after the bootcamp?
Bootcamp attendees can apply for priority review for One to One Business Mentoring. Attendance at the bootcamp does not guarantee a mentoring place. If your application is accepted and a suitable mentoring match is available, the usual £27 admin and programme set-up fee will be waived. Mentoring places are offered subject to fit and mentor availability.
Why is the bootcamp priced at £29.96?
UP is committed to making high-quality business support more accessible. The £27 ticket price is made possible through support from UP and the contribution of volunteer experts.
£29.96 total, including the Eventbrite booking fee.
Will I leave with something I can actually use?
Yes. The aim is that you leave with clearer priorities, stronger foundations and practical next steps you can use straight away.
What do I need to bring on the day?
Bring your questions, your business idea and any notes or thoughts that will help you think more clearly and practically.
Are places limited?
Yes. There are only 15 places available so participants can benefit from a better learning experience and more meaningful follow-up support.
